Downloading the Stoneridge SE5000 Smart 2 via Bluetooth
The Stoneridge SE5000 Smart 2 has its own Bluetooth too. The VYS Tacho app uses it to download the driver card and the vehicle unit, without a download key.
Patent pending Patent protection has been applied for on technology in the VYS Tacho apps.
Pairing
With a Stoneridge you confirm the code the phone asks for. You do this once; after that the app connects by itself.
What the app downloads
The driver card goes automatically. For the vehicle unit the company card sits in the tachograph with a Stoneridge; the app then fetches 90 days, in seven to eight minutes.

Frequently asked questions
Can the company card stay elsewhere with a Stoneridge?
No. With a Stoneridge SE5000 the company card has to be in the tachograph for the vehicle unit. Remote with the company card works with a VDO DTCO 4.1.
